Gaining weight had never been a problem for Mari, a thirty-four-year-old stay-at-home mom and former lab technician. Growing up she had always enjoyed sports and considered herself “skinny.” But after having two children in under two years and being so busy with motherhood that she stopped exercising for four years, Mari saw her body changing. “I wasn’t happy with the way I looked and felt,” she says.
Mari wanted to improve her eating habits and feel like herself again. “I wanted to be able to fit in smaller clothes and also have more energy to play with my kids and go to the gym,” she says. She had tried a couple of other diets, including a plan that required users to buy packaged foods, but she hated the way the food tasted. So she decided to give the Mojito Diet a try.
After four months on the Mojito Diet, Mari is thrilled to report that she has lost twelve pounds, burned off 8 percent of her body fat, reduced her waist size by five inches, and come down two dress sizes.
One of her favorite things about the Mojito Diet is that it’s easy to follow. “It gives you recipes that are simple to make at home, and it’s easy to follow the plan when you eat out,” Mari says. “I love that you can eat cheese and also that you can eat half of a small potato; it’s very easy to manage the proteins, and I love the Mojito Water!” She enjoys looking forward to reward mojitos at the end of the week, and likes the fact that the Mojito Diet is a fourteen-day plan that can be repeated as many times as needed until your goal weight is reached.
“The Mojito Diet has changed the way I eat and cook,” Mari says. “It has made me conscious of my health, and now I’m very aware of what I eat. I feel more energetic and feel like my old self again. After having my two kids I wasn’t feeling that good with the way I looked, but now I look and feel much better.”
